School! ....again?
I was feeling very unenthused about yet another first day of school.
(this is in fact my 29th first day of school ever; I have two more to go before I leave school for the first time since 1987 -- when I was four)
It was awfully hard to get excited. But then I went in, and I had lunch with friends from seminary that I hadn't seen in a month. I ran into people and caught up on their news. I went to class, I went to have hot chocolate with a buddy, I went to chapel.
And it was good. I felt good. I was happy.
So maybe it's not so bad, this first day of school.
